Spring Time

Spring is a time of creativity in the garden. Try painting your garden with a palette of yellows, whites, hues of pink and subtle blues. Sprinkle with the sounds of hummingbirds, frogs, chickadees, wrens and towhees this is the setting of Spring's delight. The Garden Angels surround the gardener with love and light. As frogs sing their morning song, the rain dances upon the flowers in the garden... magic abounds and loves lies upon the Earth like a soft blanket of mist that awaits the gardener's presence.

Tip: Using too many mixed flower colors tends to neutralize color energies rather than intensify. Of course, everyone wants instant color in their garden, but plants take time to mature, especially perennials. Annuals offer a steady stream of low vibrations that fairies can harmonize with. Native plants are the calmest of plant vibrations. Perennials and bulbs have strong vibrations and radiate intense warmth, love and healing.

Hyacinths

Fragrance: Hyacinths offer superior fragrance from March through April. They have a very strong scent which can be experienced from ten feet away. After the blooms fade trim blossoms. Either let the leaves go yellow then trim off at the base of the plant, or you can lift the bulbs and store in dry peat moss in a box in your garage during the summer months, and replant them in the Fall.

Healthy Gardens

Your hands and your mind are the greatest tools you can share with the Earth. Envision total balanced health and harmony as you plan and plant your gardens and flower beds. Allow for growth and spaces between each plant. Start with a very personal commitment to work with the piece of Earth on which you reside, whether you own it or not. Please do not poison it with chemicals that rob the soil of its nutrients. Supplement with healthy nutrients full of minerals to give plants the food resources they need from the soil and they will provide you and your family with healthy vegetables, fruits and grains full of vitamins and minerals. Most of all keep love in your hands and heart as you plant, and these precious healing vibrations will be directed into the Earth.

Pieris

Tip: You can mix your own formula using equal parts of the following ammendments, bonemeal, bloodmeal, rock phosphate in a five gallon bucket with a lid. Then use a dog food scoop in a small painter's pail as you plant, sprinkling into each planting hole. For larger applications mix in a wheel barrow and spread with a shovel and double dig into planting beds.
